Music Artists

Living in Philadelphia, the City of Brotherly Love, from 1991 to 2002, I photographed many touring rock bands. In concerts of this scale, the bands' management would prescribe the songs during which we photographers could do our work. The more gracious might allocate, say, the first three numbers. The more mealy-mouthed and cantankerous might limit us to two or fewer numbers!

Vivant à Philadelphie, la ville de Brotherly Love, de 1991 à 2002, j'ai photographié de nombreux groupes de rock en tournée. Dans des concerts de cette envergure, la direction des groupes attribuait les chansons pendant lesquelles nous, photographes, pouvions faire notre travail. Les plus aimables pouvaient nous allouer, disons, les trois premières chansons. Les plus mesquins et les plus acariâtres pouvaient nous limiter à juste deux chansons ou même moins !
